Rice - 1 cup
Capsicum - 2
Tomato - 1 medium size
Green chilies -2
Ginger - 1inch
Cumin seeds - 1tsp
Mustard - 1tsp
Turmeric - 1/4thtsp
Sambar powder - 1/2tsp
Red chilli powder - 1tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 4 to 5 tsp
Coriander leaves
Cashew - 6
To grind - tomato, ginger, green chillies to a paste
Method:
- Cooked rice in a pressure and keep aside. Take kadai add 4 tsp of oil. Season with mustard and cumin seeds.
- Add the tomato paste fry, add chopped capsicum and mix well. Add turmeric, sambar and red chili powder.
- Add salt and let it cook on a medium flame.
- After some time oil will be oozing out. At this stage, add garam masala and sauté for a while and switch off the stove.
